  • Why are my vents blowing warm air?

If you feel warm air blowing out of your vents, check your thermostat to ensure it is on cooling mode and set lower than your home's current temperature. If your vents are still blowing warm air, you may have restricted airflow or a compressor issue.

  • Why does my ventilation have poor airflow?

Poor airflow is a sign of inefficiency or a blockage. You may have a clogged air filter, a broken motor, or a more serious issue.

If poor airflow is a common problem in your home, you may want to invest in an energy-recovery ventilator to give your AC a boost by exchanging stale air with fresh air each time the system cycles. You may also benefit from zoning systems, which ensure you're getting cooling power where it is most needed.

  • Why does my air conditioning turn off and on all the time?

An air conditioner goes through relatively routine cooling cycles all the time. If it is an extremely hot day, you can expect the cooling system to turn on more frequently but it should not cycle on and off constantly. If you notice constant cycling, contact us. Your system may need a tune-up or additional troubleshooting.

  • Why do I have a lot of humidity indoors?

Spring and summer create sticky weather conditions outside, but your air conditioner should automatically moderate humidity levels inside your home.

Contact us for quick diagnosis and repair if your cooling system is not keeping moisture levels comfortable. We'll let you know if a whole-house dehumidifier is recommended.

  • What do I do if my air conditioning is leaking water?

AC systems use refrigerant to cool, and therefore may produce condensation during normal operation. Pooled water or an active leak around the AC is a sign of an issue. Contact us right away to prevent damage to your home.

  • Why does my air conditioning smell bad?

If you smell bad odors coming from your HVAC system, reach out to us right away. We can use UV lamps to determine the presence of microbial growth or provide duct cleaning to eliminate odors inside your ductwork.

  • Why is my air conditioning making weird noises?

It is normal for air conditioners to make noise as they start up and shut down, but loud, sudden noises may indicate a serious problem with your cooling system. Contact us if you hear rattling, buzzing, whistling, or grinding noises.
